A little preparation supports both comfort and pigment retention. Jules will confirm what applies to you during consultation.
Review health and skin
Discuss medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, skin conditions, keloid scarring and any existing cosmetic tattoo before treatment.
Plan the week around it
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours, blood-thinning medication as advised, caffeine on the morning, and fish oil for one week before treatment.
Protect the treatment area
Avoid sun exposure for two weeks beforehand and stop brow-enhancing serums at least 30 days before a brow appointment.
The first ten days matter.
The treated area is an open wound while it begins healing. Follow the personalised aftercare provided at your appointment.
Do not touch the tattooed area with your fingers.
Keep brows dry and avoid excessive heat or sweating for seven days.
Clean as directed for the first two days, then apply only the fine smear of provided cream for the following seven days.
Avoid cleansers, moisturiser, makeup and sunscreen on the brow area for seven days.
Dark colour, flaking and a temporarily light appearance are normal stages of healing. Do not pick shedding skin.
Two treatments are usually needed, six weeks apart. The second appointment allows Jules to review colour retention and add pigment where required.
Longevity varies with skin type, sun exposure, lifestyle, skin care, hormones, preparation and aftercare. The clinic recommends a colour boost every 12 to 18 months.
Anaesthetics are used to numb the treatment area before and during the procedure. Some clients may experience slight discomfort, but the clinic describes this as uncommon.
Yes. Most clients show little swelling or redness. The colour will look dark initially, then soften and lighten during the following two weeks.
Yes. Cosmetic tattoo clients must be over 18 years of age.
A $100 deposit is required to secure a booking. The clinic publishes a strict two-business-day cancellation notice for deposit refunds or transfer to the treatment cost.
